Executive Chef, Rob Biela - Rob has been with The West Deck for over ten years. This Johnson & Wales grad had the pleasure of training under Chef James Mitchell for most of his time here. Always cutting-edge, Rob works his unique open kitchen with grace and finesse. Forever learning, teaching and exploring his art, he has become known as one of the top chefs in Rhode Island.

Dining Room & Function Coordinator, Michelle Carter - Affectionately known amongst her fellow employees as "The Supreme Commander", Michelle has handled our extremely busy dining room on a nightly basis for eight years. Rehersal dinners, weddings, and functions in general are a specialty of The West Deck. Michelle is our go-to person and she gets it done.

Outside Grill and Operations Manager, Rob Grace - Organizational skills and business savvy usually develop with age. Not in Rob's case. The West Deck has been one of Newport's Hottest Waterfront Scenes for a long time. Rob makes sure business runs smoothly, safely and efficiently. Every business needs a Rob Grace.
